What is recipe customization?
Blue Apron is excited to launch Blue Apron Customized to make it easier to tailor meals to your tastes! With Blue Apron Customized, you can swap, add, or upgrade the ingredients in your box on both our Signature for 2 and Signature for 4 plans.
Swapping would allow you to exchange one ingredient for another, like changing out chicken for tofu. Adding would increase the portion of an ingredient. Upgrading would allow you to select a more premium ingredient, like exchanging bistro steaks for NY strips.
What types of customizations will be available?
Swap, add, or upgrade your proteins at launch, and look for more customization options for starches and veggies in December.
When will this be available?
We will begin rolling out this feature to a limited number of customers beginning the week of October 26th and will continue to actively expand towards full availability to all our customers by the end of December
